Keith Myer

Keith Myer is the Matthew 5:9 Outreach Manager and brings more than twenty years of pastoral experience within the Southern Baptist Convention. He currently serves as an Associate Pastor at Berlin First Baptist Church in Berlin, MD.

Keith was the pastor at Harvest Baptist Church in Salisbury, MD for 18 years, is a former trustee of Gateway Seminary in California, and previously worked as Associational Missionary for the Eastern Baptist Association. He is Chair of the Baptist Convention of Maryland and Delaware's (BCM/D) Care Team, whose work has helped shape the SBC’s national response to sexual abuse prevention, including the “5 Essentials” framework (Train, Screen, Protect, Report, and Care) and the Pathways implementation curriculum.

Grounded in the peacemaking vision of Matthew 5:9, Keith emphasizes trust, transparency, and strong relationships. He is known for listening well and building coalitions that lead to meaningful, lasting change.

Keith holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University and an MBA in Leadership from Liberty University. He enjoys reading and spending time with his wife, Nancy, their sons, and their two dogs. He collects international Coca-Cola cans and bottles and still needs to count his collection. He is firmly convinced that Coke is better than Pepsi, Dunkin is better than Starbucks, and The Empire Strikes Back is the greatest Star Wars and science fiction film ever made.
