Ella is a creative & analytical thinker with a passion for using her skills to love her neighbor, support the health of institutions, and build a just society. Throughout her academic and professional career, Ella has worked to understand how our systems and institutions shape us, how we shape them, and what faith has to say in response.
Ella has a bachelors in Economics from Covenant College, a Masters in Public Policy from UVA, and has spent time working as a legal assistant. Throughout these experiences, she grew in her understanding of the challenges and injustices facing our society and the importance of people of faith to address them. Ella is also a graduate of the Trinity Fellows program in Charlottesville, Virginia and volunteered with Youth With a Mission in Europe prior to beginning college, where she primarily supported refugees in the wake of the 2017 refugee crisis.
When not engaged with work around toxic polarization and faith, Ella can be found cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, hiking, or playing a board game with friends. While a native of Colorado, Ella now lives in Washington, DC.
