Vice President of Advancement

Jay Boyles is the Vice President of Advancement, leading the organization’s efforts in advancing strategic partnerships and communications, as well as development and events.

Prior to joining the One America Movement, Jay served for twenty years as an active-duty naval officer, including leadership roles around the world on ships, with special operations forces, in the Pentagon and at intelligence agencies. He recently transitioned to civilian life and is enjoying engaging in new avenues of service in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, including as an Adjunct Professor of Government at Regent University, and in a variety of internal and community-facing ministries at Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Jay received his undergraduate degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University and graduate degrees in national security studies from the U.S. Naval War College and Marine Corps University.

Jay and his wife Liz are proud new parents, and they love exploring their home of Norfolk, Virginia as a family, especially when good eats are involved. Jay is also an avid history lover and will stop anywhere to read good historical marker.
