Division Assessment
The Division Assessment is a tool developed by the One America Movement to help faith communities identify how America’s toxic polarization may negatively affect their congregations and their wider community.
Understanding how polarization affects our congregations and communities by identifying the symptoms and drivers of toxic polarization can help us keep them intact and the dynamics healthy when the pressure is high. And it can help us hold fast to our values when our society is so divided.
That is why the One America Movement developed this Division Assessment to help you identify how America’s toxic polarization may negatively affect your congregation and community. This tool is specifically designed to get at the heart of how toxic polarization may be playing out in your congregation and community and assist you in identifying areas of growth toward a healthy congregation and community.
Once you complete the Division Assessment, someone will contact you to discuss how the One America Movement can support you.
The digital Division Assessment is one way to use this tool. Another option is the Division Assessment for Leaders Facilitation Guide. The guide has been designed as a group discussion tool to help you and other key stakeholders discuss the relevant issues within your group to help you identify the best way to support your congregation and community.
