Lydia Fujimura serves as a partner to One America in areas including: Volunteer Leadership Development, Chapter Engagement Strategy, and California-based Program Outreach. Lydia's involvement with One America began in 2017 after traveling to Israel and Palestine with The Telos Group on a peace-building tour with her church. This trip sparked several more trips to Israel and Palestine in efforts to build and equip leaders to bring peace-building practices into their own lives and local communities. After identifying the reality of toxic polarization first hand, Lydia was inspired by One America's vision, which illustrates the hope and potential for change that equipped Lydia to continue peace-building not just overseas, but locally as well. Lydia continues engagement with the local California community in bridge building and advocating for marginalized people groups alongside other organizations, and within her work as an HR professional at Taco Bell Corporation in Irvine, California.
Lydia holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and a concentration in Marketing and a Master's of Science degree in Organizational Psychology. Lydia's passion for leadership development, human behavior, and advocacy is also demonstrated through her personal love of photography, the arts, and culture.
