April is a lifelong learner and an avid observer of people. She is a proud living kidney donor and a huge fan of the Home of the Brave. She loves to write, dabble in nature photography, especially the moon, and she passionately loves God and her family.
Before joining One America Movement, she has worked as an Executive Director for the YMCA, a Senior Account Executive for OnMedia, an Assistant to the Editor of The Old Schoolhouse magazine, a Marketing Director for Only Passionate Curiosity website, and as an Operations Coordinator for American Health Companies. She is a peacemaker at heart, and that mindset is what drew her to the One America Movement, where she will be able to help communities better embrace the commonalities we all share.
She and her husband Michael are a blended family success story and have four children and five grandchildren in their “his, hers, and ours” lives. April and her family live in northern Mississippi near Tupelo in a tiny house they are renovating themselves. They are active members of Lawndale Presbyterian Church, also in Tupelo.
April holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Faulkner University and a Master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
